This might seem like a weird place to take your family, but the massive bat colony, the largest in North America living here, is absolutely mesmerizing to watch. Make sure you come at sunset for when the bats come out.

Home to the Texas Longhorns, this is one of the most beautiful, rustic campuses that we have seen. Being one of the oldest campuses in the U.S., the architecture is unbelievable.

At one point, Austin possessed the tallest Capitol Building in the US, even rivaling Washington. Nowadays it is not the largest but it is definitely as beautiful as the others.
