Visit the Gorges

Portland is known for having amazing landscape and two of the reasons for that are the Columbia River Gorge and the Oneonta Gorge. The Columbia River Gorge is probably the most popular with over 128 kilometres of canyons to see. Make sure to bring your hiking boots.

The Portland Japanese Gardens and Lan Su Chinese Gardens are the closest that we have ever seen to the real thing. With stunning architecture, these gardens make you feel like you’re in Asia.

With so many different exhibits, ranging from an old US submarine, to a planetarium, to an OMNIMAX theatre. Make sure to check out the Titanic exhibit if it’s in town.
