Which of the party leaders courting your for your vote would you most like to have as a travel partner? That's a question that Travelzoo asked in a recent survery of Canadians and the party leader who came out on top was Justin Trudeau!
According to Travelzoo, 42 per cent of respondents named the Liberal leader as their choice for a travel companion while 25 per cent picked Stephen Harper. Green Party leader Elizabeth May was selected by 20 per cent of those asked while just 10 pr cent picked NDP leader Thomas Mulcair. Ironically, 36 per cent of New Democrats who were asked opted for Trudeau over their own party’s leader.
Trudeau also beat the pack when respondents were asked whom they’d rather sit next to on an airplane - he got 41per cent of the favorable votes compared to 29 per cent for Harper, according to Travelzoo.
Maybe this survey is a preview of what's to come in the general election.
