IF YOU’RE READY to bare all on your next vacation, then you need to know the naked truth about where nudists are welcome before shedding your clothes. Sadly, not all destinations allow people to roam beaches in their birthday suit — not even on your birthday.
So to take the guess work out of where nudist bathers would feel most welcome, the folks at London-based Globehunters researched what destinations provide the best conditions for skinny dippers.
Globehunters took several key factors into consideration when compiling the data, like safety — especially for LGBTQ nudists — accommodation and average temperature, and then ranked each destination on a score from 1to100.

Topping the overall ranking with a score of 75.79 was Spain’s Cádiz, the island city whose Playa de Bolonia beach is among the best in the world. Second was Punta Križ beach in Monsena, Croatia, followed by Portugal’s Ilha Deserta, and Tkon, on the Croatian island of Pašman. Spain’s Platja des Cavallet, in Ibiza, rounded out the Top 5.
Canada actually placed three beaches in Globehunter’s Top 45 — Wreck Beach in Vancouver placed 13th on the nudist list, while Toronto’s Hanlan’s Point Beach placed 20th, one spot ahead of Surrey, B.C.’s Crescent Beach.
The No. 1 spot in the world where they roll out the welcome mat for LGBTQ nudists is Agesta Beach, near Stockholm, according to Globehunters. The safest spot in the world for all nudists is Red Beach, in Akrotiri, Greece.

If you’re looking to get a tan ALL over, then Globehunters suggests you head for either Hippie Hollow Beach near Austin, TX, or Ocho Rios Beach in Jamaica, where the average temperature in both places is 29C and the sun shines almost 300 days of the year.
Globehunters based its accommodation score on average daily rates supplied by Airbnb and the destination that comes out on top in that category is Cuba’s charming Cayo Largo, where you can stay for $50 a night.
Exposing the best nudist destinations is a revealing process.
